Hello from Camp Likely!

Its that time of year again, schools is back in and the leaves are falling. Camp is all buttoned down and the dock is pulled out of the lake. Time for some reflection. We had a great summer of camps this year! Thanks to all the staff who jumped in and stepped up, and thanks to the campers; all 201 of you! Without you camp just isn't the same! We can't wait to have another great summer in 2012. See you there!

Dates for next year are as follows:

Staff Training - July 1-4
Squirts - July 4-7
Kids 1 - July 8-14
Kids 2 - July 15-21
Teen-July 22-28

Please stay tuned for more info coming in the spring. Please also continue to pray for a permanent director.

A word from our great leaders!

Camp Likely 2011

We had another extremely successful summer of camping at Camp Likely. Over 200 campers joined us for the adventure. Nearly every camp was full, to capacity. Even in spite of the weather and the
bugs, a good time was had by all. We are thankful to God for keeping us safe during camp time. He always provides and
protects.

Kids Camp 1 was a ton of fun. We had a number of different activities with Kate heading up the programming department
and Melissa assisting her. The sun decided to return, forcing the bugs to leave. We were
extremely happy with both. The food was amazing; the volunteers were astounding.
The week went really well and we all had a good time.

The "best of both worlds" teenage out trip was a huge success. Fashioned after
previous wilderness trips, but scaled down to just a couple of days, our out trip to Cariboo Island was a lot of fun. 48
teenagers and many adult volunteers canoed and kayaked the 8 miles in a bit of a storm. Everyone arrived safe and
sound, but not very dry! Luckily, Uncle Jimmy, the teen camp cook, had a lot of food ready and waiting for the weary travelers. Upon their arrival to the Island, the campers were met with a small village, constructed by George and Daryl. It was a fantastic time and we all

appreciated the hard work of every one involved.

As happens every year, God was there, waiting for us to reach out to Him. Many campers did. Our speakers were phenomenal, the music was great, and the Bible Stories we learned were
inspiring. We look forward to each of you returning to camp next year.
Hope we see you soon,
Cindy Outhouse aka "Cherrio"

Hey all Helmet here.
I was just thinking about camp this week and remembering all the fun I had. It was SOOOO much fun doing campfire, even
when the water was up to the fire pits and stage. I can still remember singing "boom chica boom"! With the beach gone,
you would think we wouldnʼt have any fun! You didnʼt miss any fun no matter how far the water came up!I

Thanks for the fun times tubing on the lake, I always get a great thrill watching you get all wet. :-) I loved the dining hall meals, the
big Camp cake (werenʼt the cooks amazing!!) One of my favorite dinning hall memories was the movie theatre we set up.

The biggest thing I was remembering about camp though was not only all the great memories of fun and craziness
but how much you all touched my heart. Thanks to the staff who came out and supported me and made it all possible. Thanks so much for being part of camp!

I am looking forward to seeing you and your friends for even more new and exciting things
next summer!

Hey Likely!
I am so excited about how this summer went, all the staff, and all the campers coming
out!

I love how every week the campers were full of energy!
Everyone was singing crazy camp songs like, 'Boom Chica Boom'! And, we all had the opportunity to learn more about God and Jesus, and how they can change our lives! So cool!

Remember to wear your camp shirts around and keep
pursuing to learn more about God!

I loved seeing you all this summer and I hope you are
able to enjoy Likely again in 2012!

God Bless!
Kate aka "Fiesta"-Party!
Party! Party!
